Houston Ballet Center for Dance

Project Overview

Ballerinas in Eco-Etch glide effortlessly across a stunning elevated footbridge that spans between the Houston Ballet Center for Dance and Wortham Center in downtown Houston.

This bridge, which is fast-becoming an iconic landmark in the city, was the result of coordination with the Houston Ballet, the City of Houston, the architects at Gensler Houston, and the contractor, Bellows.

Actual troupe members from the ballet were photographed to create the digital images that were then Eco-Etched on stainless steel, an exciting way for the troupe to make a lasting mark.
