1999 K Street

Project Overview

Our products make an impressive statement in the lobby of the 1999 K Street building in Washington, D.C.’s Central Business District, and perhaps that contributed to the building’s record-breaking sale. The modern office building sold for $207.8 million or a staggering $830/sq. ft., the second highest per-square-foot price ever paid for real estate in D.C.

While we’re widely known for our product designs, our materials also serve as inspiration to others. Chicago-based architect Helmut Jahn chose our stainless steel and Fused Nickel Silver for the wall panels, the reception desk, a custom bench, doors, columns, elevator interior panels, hoistway doors and more.
