Chicago Transit Authority - Washington/Wabash Station

Located along Chicago’s iconic ‘L’ system, the $75 million Washington-Wabash rapid transit station serves as a gateway to Millennium Park and other popular attractions in the heart of the city.

LightPlane Panels with custom artwork created by artist Michiko Itatani are featured in the terminal mezzanine. Entitled Cosmic Wanderlust 1 & 2, the installation reflects on human history and culture of the past, present and future. F+S worked with the Chicago Department of Transportation to meet the application needs including a waterproof LED lighting solution.
